SCREENING: ROTARY DRUM (or DRUM FILTER), BELT SCREEN, RAKE SCREEN, OVERFLOW SCREEN AND PRE-TREATMENT COMBINED COMPACT UNIT: ALL PRODUCTS GUARANTEED BY SEFT S.R.L.  EXPERTISE AND EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD.

Rotary drum (or drum filter), belt screen,  chain-bar screen: the applications are different for all these SEFT S.r.l. products (primarily fine rotating drum) as are the advantages: they are built in stainless steel and maintenance, as well as its dimensions (in some cases such as the overflow screen) are self-cleaning and adaptable to existing systems.

The belt screen is composed of a belt with heavy-duty teeth and spacings and it works by rotation. Any material not passing through the spacings is collected and discharged in the upper part of the machine; the SEFT belt screen is excellent for obtaining a medium-fine screening.

The belt screen, instead, was designed for coarse screening, which is the first operation to be considered in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment system. The purpose of the belt screen is to eliminate large solids which could damage or slow down the purification processes and equipment of the system as well as clog pipes.

Thanks to the filtering screen which is composed of the bar screen, the SEFT S.r.l. rake screen can block floating particles (with a size greater than the screen spacing), separating them from water flow and convey the material directly to the discharge mouth by means of cleaning rakes.

Impossible to ignore, among the screening products, the rotary drum (or drum filter), which is a grid composed of a case in which rotates a filter with a V-type surface with the distance between each coil adjustable to the desired filtering space. In the fine screen, the wastewater enters through a feeding tank and distributed on the surface of a filter cylinder and after passing through the successive steps. When it recirculates back to the tank, the wastewater is free of particles and ready to repeat the cycle. Rotary drum (or drum filter) is a product guaranteed by SEFT S.R.L.
